ELM License not recognised or Invalid

If you load your license and get an error about an invalid license please check the following:


  • The hardware ID used is correct, compare the HW ID in ELM with the ID in your ENTTEC account
  • Make sure you loaded the XML file as is, if any content was changed the file will be invalid
  • Check you have a license for the correct version, if you are running ELM 2025, you must have a 2025 license.  The license version you have will be displayed in you enttec account license information
