It's still not possible to delete faders in Ableton after they are mapped/created.
Yep, that seems so. You need delete the VST window, and then again add a new one and fill it with needed faders.

Once an EMU fader is mapped in Ableton through the VST, I cannot unconfigure or delete that fader from the parameter list. I'm supposed to just click delete when in Configure mode in the VST, but it doesn't work with the EMU VST.
