Controlling light fixtures via ELM possible? (with DMX USB Pro Mk2)

Hi we were wondering if it's possible to control DMX light fixtures (Gemini light panels for example from Litepanels) with ELM and DMX USB Pro Mk2?
We would like to drive the colours of the panels with a live desktop screen, which is what ELM seems to be able to do, this is for our virtual production lighting setup.
Just trying to decide if ELM is suitable or would MadMapper be better.
