What gives?

Has EMU just become abandonware? There has been 1 update in almost two months. There seems to be plenty of promises from Enttec, but no followthrough. I just paid for another year based on these promises of good updates coming soon, and I'm beginning to regret that decision. YouTubers that were working with Enttec and recommending this software are now saying they can no longer recommend it and are beginning to recommend other options.

I don't understand why there isn't more communication by the developers for this software that is rather expensive for what it is considering it has fewer features than similarly priced software. Not to mention DMXIS was free, and did essentially the same thing. So they moved to a subscription model to fleece customers for money while they abandon the software? I think a lot of people would appreciate some updates whether through the software or through communication.

The biggest feature that should be added would be a second universe at least. I run lights for my band, and we bring them to shows. Sometimes venues have their own lights that we can patch into, and it would be nice to have a second universe to make room for their lights, and keep them separate from our own.

I agree with you.

This feature is our scope.

Stay tuned.

Thank you for your request. EMU is not abandoned at all.

Just a new feature request by the customer (looks by you :) https://support.enttec.com/support/discussions/topics/101000612907?page=1 ) has got released today to the beta 24.10.24.5.

Feel free to post your feature request on the forum.

Stay tuned EMU will get way more stuff soon!

I can add that two is more than one and in this case more is better than the less :) So it would be great if EMU has more Universes ^_^
