Ode MK3 output as broadcast

Dear Enttec users

For my final project in college, I made a DMX recorder.

To create shows, I am using Emu and the Enttec Ode MK3. At the company I am doing my internship, I am able to control light etc.

But at home I have to problem that the output type is set to none of the Ode MK3.

At my internship it looked like this.

I have tried resetting the Ode MK3, I can ping it using cmd (my Ethernet port has a static IP in the same subnet as the ode), and I am able to visit the configuration webpage. On the main page of the config website I can see that "Send to" is disabled, so the problem probably lies here, but I have no idea how to enable it.

I hope someone has a solution for this because right now, I haven't found any in the manual of the Ode MK3, and I am getting very close to my presentation.

Hi!
EMU will be displaying output type as none as it hasn't received an Art-Net reply from the ODE Mk3.
(It has other methods to still discover ENTTEC devices)
I'd recomend checking that you don't have something else open on your computer that can receive Art-Net, as this program may be claiming the ArtPoll replies.

What do you do differently between when you set up at your internship and what you do at home?

Regarding the send to, your port 1 is set to Receive Art-net not send it so "Send to" is irrelivant. This is why it is set to Disabled. This isn't an issue.

Hi

Thank you for the quick response, I meanwhile reinstalled Emu (didn't do anything) and had an update for Windows, and now it's working again.

I am very confused as to why it works now.

Interesting, possible that as part of the restart, whatever was claiming the ArtPoll replies was closed?
