I'm having an issue when trying to access the web interface for the ODE. It keeps saying TypeError: Load Failed. Not really sure what to do in order to change some settings.

From your description I can suggest a few options:
1) Try change your browser;
2) Check out your firewall - it can block reaching the web interface (either temporary disable it or add an exception for the ODE's IP address in your firewall settings).
