I just changed the IP of my PC to the one i configured as default gateway 10.100.11.1 and now i am able to reach the device under the correct configured IP.
Next step was to configure the IP of my PC to 10.100.11.200 and i was still able to reach the ODE.
Next step was to configure the IP of my PC to 10.100.11.253 and i was still able to reach the ODE.
Next step was to configure the initial set IP for my PC 10.100.11.254 as this is the IP i am using when entering networks with static IP configured. For my surprise the ping stopped responding. I think i discovered a edge-case-bug here =)
Final result: Do not set the IP of your PC to X.Y.Z.254, choose any other than 254 for last octed and everything is working as expected in my case.
BTW Subnet-mask was 255.255.255.0 all the time.
Hi Louis,
Thanks for providing this detailed information.
We are aware of this and will have the fix released in the next ODE Mk3 update.
If you urgently need a fix, please reach out to [email protected]
Alternatively, if you can avoid .254 during set up, or if you can't, make sure the ODE's IP is an odd number then you should be able to access it stil.

Hi, i have to configure an ODE MK3 for a customer.
When i have a DHCP on my network, the ODE will recieve the DHCP offers and takes an IP, after that the device is not reachable under this IP.
When the ODE is on factory settings and my PC have the 192.160.0.X i can reach the device under 192.168.0.10. I updated the firmware to v1.7 at this point. After that i configured the IP of the ODE, switch DHCP off and set a static ip 10.100.11.30. Now i can not ping the device and can not access the WebInterface anymore. Further the device is also not recognized in the Enttec EMU-Software.
Now, if i configure my PC back to 192.168.0.X the device will show up in the EMU again and showes the IP 10.100.11.30 i configured. Also i can not reach the device under this IP because i am in a different subnet.
I broadcasted a reset to factory through the EMU-Software and after a few minutes was able again to access the Webinterface.
I double-checked everything in the network-tab and checked for typos in the IP or Subnet-Mask.
Since there is no default Gateway on the final network and i had to configure one i just choose 10.100.11.1 which is not used. Maybe this is the problem?
I tried everything i could think of, maybe somebody had this experience and has a hint for me?
Kind regards,
Louis
