5. A play all button. Like stop all, but it's play all.
6. I would like to be able to select multiple oscillations at the same time, in the same way you can select various faders at the same. When multiple oscillations are selected, moving a dial affects all the oscillations that are selected.
That's impressive! Will try to comment on your points:
1) Don't think EMU can stop and start it's BPM manually. I rather think it is always on and you can only change it's value. But at the same time you can use EMU in conjunction with any DAW where you can handle your needed tempo and EMU would stick to it all the time.
2) Yes, just don't use oscillation but fade effect - then you can make that by the button hit EMU changes a program and it will fade selected faders i.e. one-shot.
Or you may use oscillation, but mind that it is non-stop process so that you will need have 2 button hits - one to turn on the program with oscillation - another to turn it (program with oscillation) off.
3) Only in a way of changing banks/programs in EMU. To make automative - you may use either MIDI controllers or DAWs. Using DAWs can be divided to two ways: via MIDI notes or via VST plugin. Both ways are interesting and convenient.
4) There are a bunch of buttons in EMU which can be mapped, i.e. changing banks/programs, master speed aka tempo, fade, groups, oscillation and sound tracker and the last was just recently added - fixture attribute manager. Hope I am not missing anything :)
5) Haven't got it. Sorry.
6) What's that dial? Basically you may unite oscillations of selected faders only if they're of the same type of oscillation.
Hope it is at least a bit helpful to you. You're doing cool stuff, I like it! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you!

Yes, that's the problem. It would be very useful if it could. And not hard to implement. Stop/start for BPM. That's all.

Yes, that would be easy enough. Hotkeys would mean I could play around without getting my midi controller out, though.

Being able to apply the same oscillation to multiple selected faders is very useful. But I often apply the same oscillation, and then I want to change the phase for each one. And then once I've changed the phase for each fader, I might want to change the shape of all of them at the same time. By having the ability to select multiple oscillations (like in the screenshot mock up), I would be able to adjust the shape for all oscillations, even if they have different phase values. This would be nice for me.
Just to be clear, this is a wishlist of features I would appreciate. I'm (more or less) aware that they are (probably) not currently available. But I think they would make Emu a better product. Respectfully speaking. Thank you.

Hello. Get ready for a slightly long post.
My name is Josh. I made a lighting controller from scratch using raspberry pi chip on a controller called Plasma 2040, from Pimoroni in the UK:
It does this:

and this:
https://www.instagram.com/p/DG2XFrkqeyv/
and it also controls AV which run in my own app (programmed in Defold), like this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLjmKqjY7iA
And fundamentally, it isn't a midi controller. It controls WS2811 LEDs via PWM, without a laptop in sight (unless you're running the projections like in the youtube video).
I'm moving over to EMU to adapt and grow my set up, and I'm struggling with a few features that I built in to my set up (coming from a DJ/music background). And as I've only just started with Emu, it's possible I've missed a few things - if any of the things I'm wishing for already exist, please let me know!
So, my wishlist:
1. Start and stop buttons for BPM.
If a song is at 128bpm, it's great I can set Emu's BPM to 128, but if it's out of sync by half a beat, I want to be able to press stop and then start the count again on the beat. Manually.
2. One-shot programs.
Programs are like loops of repeating patterns, and that's great, but I would also like an option which means that after x seconds (or beats, for example), the oscillator stops (and, for example, turns out all the lights). For example, you might use this with a ramp down oscillator that only ramps down once.
These effects would not be synced to the BPM- when you press the button, it triggers the program.
Look how James Hype does it: https://www.instagram.com/p/DGlWrZoNIug/?hl=en It would be great if this feature was available natively in Emu.
3. a drum machine type interface, when you drag one-shot programs onto a grid. For example, you could put a one-shot ramp-down on the first beat of each bar.
4. I would like a lot more hotkeys, please. Assignable hot keys would be amazing.
Thanks for your attention, and congrats on the amazing little device that is the USB DMX Pro.
