Hi,
I agree that is a strange feild to put on the website.
I assume it must be refering to the flow of DMX. The Din-RDS4 is full RDM complient and will pass RDM replies back from the fixtures.
Thankyou for pointing this out and we will adjust the website to make this more clear.
Hi, Matthew carpenter
Thanks for your quick reply
Does DIN-RDS4 have the function of filtering RDM commands? As far as I know, some old devices that do not support RDM will flicker if they receive RDM commands.
Are there any other splitters that have this filtering feature?
While the old discontinued Rackmount RDS4 and RDS8 did, unfortunatly the Din-RDS4 Mk2 doesn't however dependingon what your application is something like your Storm10 ethernet to DMX Node is able to have RDM enabled and disable on a per port basis.

I see that the parameters of DIN RDS4 indicate Bi-Directional: NO,
so the fixtures connected to RDS4 cannot transmit the response information of RDM to the console?
Why does the protocol supported by RDS4 include ANSI E1.20 RDM?
