I have been using the DMX USB Pro for about a month on a 2020 MacBook Air M1. I had not had any issues until today.
I bought a new USB cable to use with the device, specifically a CableCreation USB B to USB C 6.6ft.
Suddenly, my computer stopped recognizing the Pro. I checked in my System Report and it was not showing up in my USB hubs. The green light blinks when plugging it in, as normal.
I am running Tahoe 26.3.1, the same operating system as I have always ran with it. I also tried it on my MacBook Pro M5 running Tahoe 26.4 and my 2020 iMac running Sequoia. None of my computers will recognize the Pro.
I have also gone through the troubleshooting steps listed on this website to see if it would help, including the VCP Method and the FTDI Method.
Is it possible that the new USB cable fried the Pro? Do I have a faulty unit? Or is there something I am missing?
