This article is a guide for the DIN Pixie SKU: 73539 new user who wants to know how to record a show using the Standalone feature of the DIN Pixie. 


You can access your DIN Pixie using EMU. To download EMU, kindly click on the link below.


Once EMU has been downloaded, open it up click Settings (The Gear Icon in the upper right side) Click Rescan for Devices and find the DIN Pixie.


Now, on the right side of the DIN Pixie, click on the Settings (The gear icon) and it will direct you to the DIN Pixie's configuration page.



Under the CONFIG Tab, you can now configure your DIN Pixie according to your LED Strip's personality (Please refer to your LED Strip Data Sheet). and select the corresponding protocol.


Click Set DMX Parameters button.

After you have set your DIN Pixie, you are now ready to do a show record. Open your ELM and create your desired Sequences.

How to use ELM Sequences

While your ELM Sequences are playing, navigate to your DIN Pixie in EMU. Click on STANDALONE>RECORD>Put your desired Show Name>Play Count: Forever> Toggle the Play on PowerUp switch>Output on ports>(Out 1 or both 1&2)>RECORD.


Once your Sequences has been played completely in ELM, you can now click on STOP on your DIN Pixie in EMU (You don't need to wait for 100% in the progress bar). Then click on UPLOAD TO DIN Pixie.

If you reach this far, then you successfully recorded your show in your DIN Pixie.


You can now remove the USB of your DIN Pixie from your PC or laptop, then power cycle your DIN Pixie. Once it is power up, it should automatically trigger and play your recorded show in your DIN Pixie.
