Hi, I am working with DMXIS enttec VST plugin with ableton live 9. Now I have to purchase another DMXIS but it is discontinued. 

Now is time to upgrade to EMU with another hardware but I need to work with the same ableton live 9 version.

Is Ableton live 9 compatible with the EMU vst3 plugin?

And, is it possible to purchase an VST(1) EMU plugin?

EMU supports VST3 only at this moment. May be previous VST version support will be added later.
