If you see flickering on your DMX installation at regular intervals, this is probably due to RDM device polling that is performed.
Every compliant DMX device should ignore RDM frames if they don't support it. Unfortunately some devices will take these as DMX frames.
In the output settings of your Ethergate , ODE or Storm 10 change the port settings to DMX only
