DMX USB Pro Device Recognition Mac M4

I've always had this problem but it even continues on my brand new Mac M4. When I load EMU it will show the device but it's greyed out. Rescanning devices doesn't work, unplugging and replugging it back in does not work. Usb A-C adapter, nor a USB C to USB B cable doesn't work.

Eventually it will come online but I cannot diagnose what happens to get it to work it seems like it's random each time.

Upon plugging it in the light flashes once on the device

Any help would be appreciated.

Does this issue presents on the latest production EMU version? It is currently 25.2.25.11. If yes it would be better to raise a ticket then. Support should help in such a case.

Hello yes it does. I had high hopes with that update. Thank you I will create a ticket

Hmm I am having the exact same issue. Do you know if this was fixed?

I believe it related to that something occupies DMX USB PRO before EMU tries to take it in work. Contact support and they will help you to figure it out.

Bc it seems so random it’s hard telling but I think the best luck I’ve had is sticking with the usb-A, and using a powered adapter dongle hub thing (I use one that has 2 usb A, 1 C, power input C, hdmi; connects via C to Mac) , making sure the power supply is external - I haven’t had many gigs to fully test this but it hasn’t failed. It was odd to me that was better than straight USB C-B, or a C adapter on the A straight to the Mac but for what it’s worth that’s been my current set up.
