Am I eligible for a free upgrade to ELM 2026?
You qualify for a free upgrade to ELM 2026 only if you purchased a paid ELM 2025 licence on or after 1 April 2026 (01/04/2026). "Purchased" means you paid money for the licence.
Paid licences only. Promo codes, free vouchers, and complimentary or bundled licences (for example, a licence that came free with a hardware purchase) do not qualify for the free upgrade — only a genuinely paid ELM 2025 licence does. It's a common assumption that simply having ELM means you're entitled to the free upgrade, but if you received your ELM licence for free in any way, it unfortunately does not make you eligible.
The upgrade is automatic — check your ENTTEC account. If you're eligible, we've already added your ELM 2026 voucher to your ENTTEC account for you. Just log in to your ENTTEC account and look for the ELM 2026 voucher with your licences.
How to tell where you stand:
- If the ELM 2026 voucher is in your account — you're eligible. Go ahead and claim/activate it.
- If the ELM 2026 voucher is not in your account — in almost all cases this means you weren't entitled to the free upgrade (for example, your ELM licence was free, promotional, or complimentary, or it was purchased before 1 April 2026). If you'd still like to move to ELM 2026, please contact our sales team and we'll be happy to help you upgrade.
