In response to the unintended consequence encountered when restoring backup files taken from Firmware version 1.x and restored to Firmware version 2.x, resulting in Playlist's length being significantly reduced/comprised Playback functionality, a solution has been identified.

To rectify this issue, users are advised to downgrade the S-Play firmware to version 2.1.0, which is provided as an attachment within this knowledge base article.

Once the firmware has been downgraded to version 2.1.0, users should navigate to the Cues page and proceed to open (Edit) all Dynamic Cues. Subsequently, these Dynamic Cues should be saved without any alterations.

Following the resaving of all Dynamic Cues, users will find that the Playlists now reflect the correct lengths, restoring the expected playback functionality akin to the behavior observed in the 1.x firmware version.

As a precautionary measure, it is recommended to create a fresh backup within firmware version 2.1.0 before proceeding with any further upgrades to the S-Play system.
